The Meaning of Life

One day God created the dog and said, "dog, you are here to sit in front of the house and bark at all the strangers and anyone who passes by the house. I will give you 20 year to live". the dog said to God, "20 years, thats too long, can i live for 10 years, i dont want to bark and sit in front of the house for 20 years." God then agreed with the dog.

the next day God created a monkey and said, " monkey, i have created you to live on earth and entertain people. monkey around and make people laugh. i will give you 20 years to live." the monkey too said to God, " 20 years, that's too long, can i live for 10 years like the dog?" God then too agreed.

the next creature God created was a cow. " cow, i have created you so that you can work day and night, you shall help the humans and work side by side with them. you will also help produce milk for the family and you will work very hard for the family. i will give you 80 years to live." the cow then said, "80 years, that's too long, how about i live for 40 years." God agreed and gave the cow 40 years the live.

the last creature God made was Man. " man, i have created you to live on earth the way you want to. be happy, be marry, live life to the fullest. i will give you 20 years to live." the man said, "God, only 20 years? how about i live for 80 years. i'll take the 40 years the cow doesnt want, the 10 years the monkey doesnt want and the 10 years the dog doesnt want and live 80 years." God thought about it and agreed.

so the meaning of life....

the first 20 years of our life, we as human beings will live a care free, happy, life with no worries. the next 40 years of our life, we will work day and night to make ends meet, we will feed and care for our family. the next ten years after that, we will act like monkeys and run around chasing our grand children and entertaining them. the next 10 years after that, we will live our lives sitting in front of the house barking at everyone who comes near us...
